show then tell, always

show then tell, always
bell hooks: "Love is an action, never simply a feeling."

What if you placed equal if not more efforts in building yourself up as you do tearing away the sights you are accustomed to? What would life look like then?

The subject of affection is floored with riddles while the crowd can only loom over in awe.

It lays grappled with the questions of 'good enough', over and over these voices swirl on a distasteful repeat. It's so easy to judge from cheap seats, I hear it is the default. How boring? So goddam boring! A girl on the train once told me to 'flip the switch; you can totally do that any time you wish'. Really? Yeah at any time you wish.  Just do it. flip it.

Recognise that

the gift of discernment

was granted before you even entered the earth.

So my dear, love the suit

but do not live for the shallow grounds.

There is more for you to go through
There is more of you to give
Stop—
activity that reduces you to a cinder.

Any body that does not recognise your heart – is not for you.

I love* you
I love* you
I love* you...

(1)*love: show
(2)*love: tell
(3)*love: to be continued
